Submitting a Proposal
Before submitting a proposal to one of the OHP book series, please first check with the appropriate series editor(s) below, as different editors have different submission requirements.
How it works
- Scholars from OHP's editorial board develop proposals for series for approval by the board.
- Series editors form internal editorial boards for their series to manage submissions and peer review.
- Once manuscripts have been accepted by series editors for publication, they are checked by OHP before being passed to SPO for production.
- The open access e-version typically appears on the OHP website 4-6 weeks later, with the paperback version available a little later through the usual online distributors.
OHP is happy to accept simultaneous submissions but we ask you to please keep us up to date on the status of manuscripts submitted to other presses.
